So I got a critique from Tony Anselmo...Yup. My Lonesome Ghostbusters comic kept rolling around the cyber universe and apparently it made a stop in Mr Tony Anselmo's screen.
To those who doesn't know, Tony is the official Donald Duck voice and an acomplished animator.
The critique was short and straight to the point: "Donalds eyes aren't that close together, and No lower eyelid... Goofy's eyes don't blend together into one white area with two pupils. Etc."
So yeah... it wasn't a "nice" critique but, hey, he's the Duck man! I was more impressed by the fact that my fan made comic strip made it all the way to his computer.
I might never hear from him again but that was my geek moment.

Battle Los AngelesI just saw Battle Los Angeles last night. This was truly the greatest, most saintly perfect alien invasion movie I have ever seen. It sanctified my television through the mere act of transmitting its impeccable majesty.
The armed forces are competent.
They face the aliens with courage and grace.

There is a scene in which two US Marines bayonette an alien soldier with loaded assault rifles, and then proceed to fire their weapons into its abdomen!. And when it falls, they kick it in the HEAD!!!

It was like War of the Worlds meets Black Hawk Down meets Saving Private Ryan.

Well Nuts... thanks all for your input but...The images that everyone suggested were rejected. By and large, many of you associate me with cartoon pin ups. I'm cool with that, but my faculty committee wasn't. When they rejected the images I said, "well I was hesitant to put these in the show anyway." One of the committee members asked me why, and I said "Well, I occasionally catch flak from certain people, primarily tribalist neo feminists, and it's always on obnoxious conversation that causes my blood pressure to rise." The committee memeber then asked me, "If you don't like those conversations, then why do you keep doing these pieces?"
I've been mulling it over. Hell, I'm still mulling it over. But I think my general answer is that I don't think any artist should succumb to coercion. I think the best counterpoint to art that you find disagreeable is to make better art as that counterpoint.

Damnation of Badassery Animes showing some lifeSo is gonna be official, I will just going to watch anime movies until they start to working again anime series like that epic and awesome that they used to be. Pokecchi ProjectAs most of you know, last year I put out a Gijinka pokémon book with BadmanBastich. It was super well received so this time (thanks to all of your poll votes) I've decided to put out another one, only this time of the popular trainers from the series ^^

Hey guys I need some help helping you!So, basically I've been meaning to do an advertising journal for commissions.
Not my own, but commissions my friends or artists I'm very admiring of. Especially those who are in rather dire need of money for various reasons, like bills and clothing and food.

A Kickstarter I plan on supporting (if it happens)By and large, I hate kickstarter. I think it's a place for scam artists. Originally, I though Ouya would be the first kickstarter I would support, but after some reasearch it seems like a scam since it's essentially a mobile phone hooked in to your TV. Darksiders 2 , My Take, Tips and tricks, and techI have a lot to say about Darksiders 2, and I'm just going to blatantly tell you the structure of this little essay from the get go. My reasoning behind this is I have some info my PC bros may find useful. So if you, understandably, don't want to read my unimportant opinions, I still want to help you. So skip ahead, and you may find stuff that can help you. Additionally, there were some sections that EVERYONE seems to be complaining about that I found super easy, so I thought I'd share how I approached certain sections of the game.
Anyway, here's the structure: First, the faults with the game. Second, how it relates to the first game. Third, why I freaking love it. Fourth, Tips and Tricks to make the game a tad easier, especially with bullshit like the gun level. Finally, tech tips to make sure the game runs and plays well on your PC.

In order to motivate me to do more of my own comics, I have started a web comic called Short Stories which will include the stories from my book in addition to new material that I haven't gotten around to finishing. The entirety of Cup-O-Noodles is up there now. Once I have caught up with the short stories I have on file (posting 1 per week), I will be posting complete stories once/month for the foreseeable future. This is a good way to motivate me to keep writing and finishing my own work in addition to the comics I am illustrating by other folks.
It would mean so much if you would go and subscribe! And even more if you could tweet it and facepage it and spread the word (@larsenproject)! Free comics! The next story will be up by Friday.
One day I hope to have enough to collect them all into one gigantic book...

dA has being bothering meand the thing is, everytime i erase deviations from my inbox thingy, THEY COME BACK FROM THE GRAVE! OVER AND OVER AGAIN, i see at least 3 times a same deviation until in one of the erases, it finally goes away forever.

A little info on Syx:
Syx, our hapless heroine, has found out that her CURSED MANACLES have some special properties, one of them the ability to create different costumes. However, they all look like, and I quote, "something a prostitute would wear!"
So if she wanted to look like a cop for example the costume would be too tight, skirt would be too short, and so forth.

Now MANAWORLD is a Fantasy setting, but you can take some liberties.
